The Drive ALL Out Foundation is a support organization and advocacy group devoted exclusively to providing assistance to cancer patients. Newly  diagnosed patients require emotional, educational, and financial support services to assist them and their caregivers with the overwhelming challenges they are suddenly facing.

Our mission is to improve the care, quality of life, and survival rate of young adults diagnosed with cancer. Our focus is the young adult population who are under-represented and may be in between the times of being cared for by their parents and starting a family of their own.  Many fast acting cancers, like ALL, will take an unsuspecting individual by surprise and throw their life into a tailspin. At Drive ALL Out we intend to be the vehicle by which many inspired young adults can continue to thrive and function as they focus on driving cancer out of their lives and returning to the drivers seat of their own life.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO DRIVE ALL OUT

With ALL, too many stem cells develop into lymphoblasts or lymphocytes. These cells may also be called leukemic cells. These leukemic cells are not able to fight infection. Also, as the number of leukemic cells rapidly increase in the blood and bone marrow, there is less room for healthy white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets. The result is infection, anemia, and easy bleeding. The cancer can also spread to the central nervous system affecting the brain and spinal cord.

The early signs of ALL may be similar to the flu, mono, or other common diseases; feeling tired, fever, weakness, loss of appetite. It is easy for a healthy young adult to ignore these symptoms until it is too late, and this type of cancer gets worse quickly if it is not treated.
The treatment for this type of cancer is long and painful, from chemotherapy to radiation to bone marrow/stem cell transplants. These treatments are also devastatingly expensive for a young adult who has just started out in the world of earning their own living and paying their own bills.

While there are many wonderful programs out there doing amazing research and development that can lead to medically sound treatment protocols whose goal is to eradicate cancer from existence, there is just not enough focus directly on the needs of the young adult population. Drive ALL Out is dedicated to allocating our resources to this group of cancer patients. We will use your financial contributions to provide assistance to patients and caregivers throughout their therapy programs and transplant journey to allow them the time they need to heal physically and emotionally.

We, in turn, count on our friends and family in the community to ensure that we have the resources to fulfill our promise to these very valuable members of society who deserve the right to the best opportunity for survival, regardless of their ability to pay.

The Drive ALL Out Foundation believes that it will one day drive ALL out of existence and shares this optimistic, hopeful vision with all the dedicated doctors, nurses, patients, parents, and friends who support its work.
